The Polacek Family: 11 Months and Easter!

Hello again everyone! This month was full of Easter activities and learning to walk! The week before Easter was Mommy's spring break so we went to Granny JenJen and Papaw's house for a couple of days. We had some photographs of the family taken and baked cookies with Granny Jen Jen. Here are some of the pics.

We also enjoyed the weather while we were there and headed outside for a game of catch.

Then on Saturday before easter we dyed our eggs. I had lots of fun watching Luke dye the eggs. I really wanted to help!

The Easter morning we saw our baskets from the Easter Bunny! Luke got a Batman shirt and Batman toy, and I got Cinderella the movie and a play phone. Then Luke went on a hunt for the candy filled eggs!

After the morning activities we went over to Grandpa Polacek and Grandma LeeLee's for dinner. We had fun playing with Sam the cat.

Then Granny JenJen and Papaw cam to visit so Mom and Dad could go out for their anniversary. We all went to the park and had lots of fun. My favorite thing to do is swing. I could swing all day if someone pushes me.

And as I said in the beginning I have learned to walk! I enjoy showing off my walking skills, but still prefer to crawl most of the time. (I am a MUCH faster crawler.) Here are 2 videos of me crawling. please excuse Luke's attitude in the videos. He really has a hard time letting me get the spotlight. I am talking and babbling alot lately. I say mama, dada, cat, mine, ba for bottle, and yes and no. I am a very good eater but I still have a hard time with "real" food. I love my blankets and my baby dolls. I also enjoy playing with Luke's toys. Jesse is one of my favorites along with his cars.

Luke is doing very well too. He is a good big brother. He is now in love with Batman, but still loves his Toy Story toys. Mommy and Daddy have been looking into preschools for him and he will start going to school 3 days a week next year. He is very friendly with others and is always looking to make new friends.

That is all for this month. I cannot believe next month will be my first birthday! Luke will be turning 3! Mom and Dad cannot believe how fast time is going by. Make sure to check out the next birthday blog is should be pretty good! Here are some more pics from the month.
