This has been quite a busy month since my 4 month blog. Mommy suggested I do two separate blogs because there are way too many pictures for just one entry. So this one is all about our trip to New Orleans.
Luke and I had a really great flight up there. It was my first flight! Mommy and Daddy told me I did amazingly! I slept for most of the plane ride and when I was awake I sat nicely and played with Luke. Luke did great too! Mom and Dad were very proud of us!
We arrived in New Orleans on Saturday afternoon and headed to Great Aunt Karen and Uncle Ricky's house. There were saw Great Mamaw, Papa Kenny and Kathy. We had a delicious dinner and I finally got to meet papaw's family.

The next day we headed to the Bayou for a tour. It was super hot and very long. Luke liked looking at the alligators, and even got to touch a baby alligator! The scenery was pretty.

After the swamp tour we headed to the French Quarter where Granny Jen Jen's family would meet us for a visit.
The next day we toured the French Quarter. We ate delicious beignets at the Cafe du Monde. We visited the beautiful St. Louis' Cathedral, and saw the enormous Mississppi River. Afterwards we walked around and did some shopping.

Mom's cousin Casey just had a little boy named Eli. We met him for the first time. He is super cute and a very quiet baby. Luke was excited to meet him.

On our last day in New Orleans we went to the Aquarium. Luke absolutely loved it!!!! We saw lots of fish, of course, and saw sharks, sea horses. Luke even fed a sting ray! Luke had so much fun he didn't want to leave.

Soon our trip was over and we headed home. We had another successful plane trip home. We really enjoyed our time in New Orleans. Hopefully we will see the family again soon.
