The Polacek Family: 5 Months!

Hi Everyone!

Time sure is flying by. Mommy cannot believe how big I am getting! She and Daddy think I am between 17 and 18 lbs right now. Mommy is sad because her time at home with me is almost over. Once Mommy goes back to work I will spend most my days with Daddy at his office. I am excited to be with Dad and have a change of scenery. Hopefully it will work out.

My first outing this month was to "Aunt" Ellie's baby shower at mom's work. There were lots and lots of ladies there. They all seemed very excited to see me.

We are waiting very patiently for Baby Sophia to arrive. I am hoping she is nice just like her mom, and that one day we can play together.

Then Great Grandma Greta (3G) and GG came over to visit one weekend. I haven't seen 3G in a while. She loves me alot and I like talking to her.

The next week Grandpa Polacek and Grandma LeeLee came by. They were stopping by to see us before they left for a whole month on their boat! I am sure they are having a great time!!

The most exciting thing this month was MY VERY FIRST PLANE RIDE!! Mom and Dad said I did WONDERFULLY! I didn't cry at all and seemed to enjoy being in the air. Unfortunately Papaw was not able to fly me to Connecticut, but maybe he can fly me to New Orleans for Christmas!

We were traveling to Connecticut to visit the Duarte family (Jen, Mike, Alyssa, and Mikey). Mom is Mikey's Godmother so we were there for the baptism. It was chilly, but very beautiful up there. I really enjoyed meeting new people and was very interested in the other children. My favorite was Alyssa. She liked playing with me and was always checking to see if I was okay. She likes to call me "Lupe" :).

It was a fast, but wonderful weekend. I hope we see them again soon. Here are some more pictures from the weekend.

This next month should be exciting too! I am going to go see Granny JenJen and Papaw for Halloween! I hear we are going to the zoo for trick or treating! That should be super fun!

I have been doing many cool things at home this month as well. I have been working very hard on sleeping through the night. I am not quite there yet, but Mommy is definitely getting more sleep.

I learned how to roll over from back to tummy! It is so much fun. Now I am rolling and rolling everywhere! Here's the cool video.

I also began eating rice cereal! I did not like it at all at first, but finally got the hang of it just this week.

The weather has been pretty nice here lately. Mom sometimes takes me out on the balcony to play and enjoy the fresh air. Here's a video of me playing in my favorite toy the exersaucer and talking to mom.
