8 Months Old!

Hi everyone! Well I am 8 months old now and growing so fast. In just this weekend alone I began crawling on my knees, pulling myself to standing, and I am working on my first tooth. I am pretty crabby about the tooth at the moment, so hopefully that will be over soon.

I really am on the go in the house. I crawled all the way from my room to Luke's room! His toys are way more interesting. I am always on the look out for the most exciting object. I like to play with Luke. He is so good with me. Our favorite thing to play together is kitchen.

Luke is such a cool big brother! He is always looking out for me and making sure mommy and daddy help me right away. He is talking so much these days, and is really in to asking why all the time. He is very curious. Here are the videos for the month.

It's only been a couple of weeks since my last blog, and we have been taking it easy at home. One weekend we went on Grandpa Polacek's boat, and yesterday Sophia came over to play. The next few weekends are pretty jammed packed so I will have quite a blog to write next time. Until then enjoy these pictures from the month.

7 months old and Merry Christmas!

Well it has only been a couple of weeks since my last post but alot has been going on.

I am getting so big! I can now sit up for a very long time, I can go from laying down to sitting up, I eat everything (except peas lol), I love my big brother, I am always smiling, I am still a good sleeper, and I am beginning to creep on my belly. I am much better at going backwards than forwards. Mom and Dad cannot believe how fast time is going by. We are all hoping January brings more family time at home. Mommy and Daddy are looking forward to just enjoying being home for a few weekends in a row.

Christmas Eve is Daddy's birthday so we had a lot of celebrating to do. Sunday we went over to Grandma and Sabbas house. We had a delicious dinner and cake. Luke helped dad blow out the candles!

Then on Monday we headed over to Grandpa Polacek and Grandma Leelee's house for our annual surf and turf dinner. we hung out by the pool and had a nice relaxing day.

The holiday season was very nice to Luke and I. We woke up Christmas morning to many presents from Santa. It was so cool watching Luke open all his gifts. I finally got the hang of the wrapping paper and was able to open a few of mine all by myself. Then our family came over for more gift opening. Grandma, Sabba, Uncle Adam, Grandpa Polacek, Grandma LeeLee and Great Grandma all came over. We opened more gifts and visited for a while. Then the Adams family came over and we played with Sophia while the adults had a delicious dinner. It was a really fun day!

The day after Christmas we woke up super early to catch a plane to Panama City beach for the yearly get together of Mommy's family. Granny JenJen's family has been going there for many years. I got to meet so many new people. We were there for four days. It was so stinking cold! We did alot of relaxing, one day we went to the zoo, and another day of antique shopping.

Luke got a push bike from Papaw and Granny JenJen. Here's a video of him trying it out. We will be hitting the park this weekend to give it a real test drive.

The zoo was really cool! It was a small zoo so the animals were really close. We saw tigers, cougars, a gator, giraffes and much more. I had so much fun looking at the animals but Luke really enjoyed it! We had a blast!

We left the chilly weather and headed home to warm South Florida. Mommy heads back to work on Monday so Luke and I are enjoying our time at home with her.

Grandma Leelee has been asking mom to post the following pictures. Everyone thinks I look just like mommy. What do you think?
