The Polacek Family: July 2012

Hi everyone!!!! I am 2 months old now, and boy we have been busy. I went to my 2 month checkup and I am doing well. I weigh a little over 13 pounds and I am 24 1/4 inches long. That is 95% in weight and off the chart for length!! I am doing a good job growing. Mom and Dad say I am a good eater, sleeper and an all around happy girl!

Shortly after my last blog, Luke moved into his big boy bed!!! He went to the store with Mom and Dad and picked out his Cars sheets. He loves his new bed. He is a MUCH better sleeper now.

I still couldn't leave the house this month so Luke and I hung out and played with Mommy alot here are some pictures of us being cute around the house.

Once I had my 2 month checkup I was free to explore the world!!! Our first stop was an indoor playground. We met Sophia there. Luke and Sophia had so much fun! I just hung around and watched.

Then we visited Daddy for lunch. We try to do this once a week. I had fun seeing his office and the warehouse. Luke got to drive around the place! It was so cool!!!

Then one day we were watching the Disney Channel (SHOCKER!), and they had a commercial for a new Cars attraction. Luke really wanted to go, so Mom and Dad decided we all should get together with Granny JenJen and Papaw and go............. Well Mom did not pay attention to the commercial long enough to realize the new park was in DisneyLAND not Disney World. So Aunt Julie found a Cars resort to stay at and we headed for Orlando! We had lots of fun playing in the pool, riding the rides and watching the Parade. I heard mom and dad saying how awesome it was to see Luke so excited. Apparently he could not understand that there were other fun rides at the park. He wanted to ride the same one over and over again. He would then kick and scream until we got to the next ride and then that one became the favorite. We weren't able to do too many rides because it was so so so hot and Mommy did not want me overheating. What little rides they did go on, were so much fun! Mom and Dad have one more day left on their pass so they hope to take Luke back again soon.

Wow we really have done alot!! As for development, I am doing very well at holding my head up, and I love to talk to Mommy and Daddy. I can even laugh :). I enjoy the swing and playing on my mat. Here are some photos and videos. Enjoy!!! See you next month!
