The Polacek Family: 2012

Well I have just plain horrible about blogging!!! Daddy's computer was not working for a few days, and then I forgot all about it!!! I haven't even blogged about HALLOWEEN!!!! So here are all the awesome things we did this past month, as condensed as possible. I will do videos in my 7 months blog which is in less than 2 weeks!

Luke and I went to the doctor for our check-ups. We are healthy and doing well. Luke's talking is much better. He is quite skinny (according to mom) but Mom and Dad are working on it with him.

I am 18lbs and 27in long. I am over the 90% for both weight and length. Luke is 27lbs and 35in tall. I can sit up all on my own now, and I love watching Luke play. Luke is still active as always. he is still into Toy Story, but also likes trains and doing puzzles.

I started eating solid food and cant seem to stop. It is so Yummy! I now eat cereal, apples, pears, and sweet potatoes. I am growing up so fast!

Well, halloween was alot of fun. Our friend Sophia came over and we went Trick or Treating. I was Snow White and Luke was Buzz Lightyear! Luke was very good at trick or treating. He said "trick or treat" and really enjoyed getting the candy. When we got back to the house we like seeing all the costumes come by. It was a great time!

We had some visits from Grandpa Polacek and Grandma LeeLee. It is always nice to see them.

Then Granny JenJen and Papaw came down for Granny's birthday. We went out to eat and had cake.

Then it was Thanksgiving and for the SECOND year in a row mom forgot the camera. We had a very nice time. Granny JenJen, Papaw, Aunt Julie, and Mommy's Grandparents were there. They had lots of delicious food, and I sat there and looked pretty. :)

We left on Friday and went home to get ready for our friends the Duartes!!!!! Mike and Jen are Mommy's friends from college. Mommy doesn't see Jen very often so she was super excited. Mommy was also excited to see Alyssa and Mikey. The came over for the Florida State/ Florida game. We all had so much fun together!!! I hope we see them again soon!!

Then the Christmas season began with our annual baking weekend. Now, I have never been to Baking weekend before and I was getting really nervous because Daddy kept saying we were heading to Santa's Sweat shop, but it was lots of fun. Luke was not feeling well all weekend (teeth), but we enjoyed all being together. Aunt Julie was there with us at Granny JenJen's.

** Mommy note: Annabelle really is such a good baby. While at mom's house we all slept in the same room. Both nights Luke woke up quite often screaming from his teeth and nightmares. Annabelle slept through it all! She really is just so wonderful!**

Well I'm back for my 5 month blog.

Mom went back to work this week so I am sorry it took so long. The last two weeks of mom being home were filled with lots of play time and bonding. Mom was super sad to leave us and was enjoying every last second.

Something very exciting happened this month! Mom's goal was to have Luke potty trained by the time she went to work and Luke did it!!!! We are so proud of him! So please excuse some of the pictures. It was easier if he wasn't wearing pants.

Then it was grandma's birthday. We went over to her house to visit. Great Grandma was there too! We played, ate some good food, looked at the boats and checked out Grandma and Sabba's kayaks. It was a very nice day.

The next day we headed to the Pumpkin patch. We rode on a tractor ride, painted pumpkins, and bought one to carve at home. It was a lot of fun!!

Those are the fun activities for the month! In a couple of weeks Luke and I both go to the doctor for a check up. Me for my 6 month and Luke's 30 month. I will have all the stats ready for you guys. We will also have pics from Halloween, so check back soon!!
