Lots of excitement!!!

Hello everyone!

I know it has been a very long time, but we have been super super busy lately, and I haven't been able to get to the computer.

Shortly after my last blog we moved into our new house!! It is so awesome!! Mom and I don't have to drive very far at all to get to work and Ms. Lisa's. Mommy is so much happier now :). Daddy has a long drive, but hopefully it will get better. Our house is in a western suburb called Plantation. It is a 2 story. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home. We have a small yard and the community pool is just a block away! The pool area even has a kiddie pool just my size. We are really enjoying our new home.

Also during this summer I graduated from another level of swimming!! I can swim pretty well under water and can hang on to the wall for up to 15 seconds! I get to start the next level of classes very soon.

After that the summer was over. Mommy went back to work, and I went back to Ms. Lisa's during the day. I really love going to her house. She has lots of fun toys to play with, and best of all Sophia is there too!

Shortly after the school year started Mommy had the chance to switch grades to Kindergarten. It is something she has always wanted to do so she took it. She tells me Kindergarten is very different, but she is liking it more every day. She hopes she will be more organized next year, and be able to enjoy it more.

The months went by quickly with Mom and Dad working on the house, or having family and friends over to visit. 

Last weekend the Frosch family came down to visit us. We are super excited because it looks like they will be moving down here by us this Spring! It will be nice to have Austin around to play with. He is very nice to me. While they were here we went to a nearby pumpkin patch. The weather was CRUMMY! We didn't stay too long, but we painted pumpkins and went to a hayride. I loved the big horses that were pulling the cart. I couldn't stop smiling the whole ride.

Then it was Halloween. Mom and Dad thought we should dress up as characters from Wizard of Oz. Mom was Dorothy of course, Dad was the scarecrow and I was the lion. The weather was horrible all day, but it cleared up just in time for trick or treating. When it was time to get our costumes on I did NOT like mine!!!! We went trick or treating anyways and the neighbors all thought I was still a cutie, even without my mane. I got some yummy candy too!!!

Then yesterday Mom came home and showed me this picture..

She says I am going to be a big brother. I am not sure how I feel about that yet, but Mom and Dad seem pretty excited. My brother or sister should arrive around my second birthday. May 10th is the due date. I guess May will be full of birthday celebrations! We will find out if it is a boy or girl in January, so stay tuned. Mommy has been feeling really good. No sickness at all, just very tired at the end of the day. 

Well I think that is about enough excitement for now. I promise to write more often and I promise to post more pictures and videos real soon.

Summer Fun!

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the delay in my blog posts. Mom has been keeping me super busy now that she is out for the summer!!! I love hanging out with her every day!!

After the big 1 year celebration, we kept it easy for a while. Mom finished up her school year, and Daddy's company entered its busy season. The last few weeks of school mommy introduced me to Mrs. Lisa. She is the lady who will be taking care of me next year during the day. She is super nice, and best of all Sophia is there too!! I spent 2 days a week with her in May. I am excited to play and have fun in August!!

In June we had Father's Day we celebrated by taking Daddy out to breakfast, and hanging by the pool with Grandpa Polacek. Daddy got Golf Lesson for a present. He had so much fun!! He even showed me all the cool moves he learned!!

Since Mom has been home we have ventured out on some pretty fun play dates! She has a group of Mommies that she works with that have a play group, so sometimes we join them on their activities. The first one was to Tradewinds Park where there was story time, a petting zoo and I even got to ride a horse!! I L-O-V-E-D it!!!

Then on another outing we went to the splash park!!! It was a BLAST! I tuckered Mommy by running all over the place. I love water, and I loved the slides. SHe even took me on the big kid slides! Can't wait to go back!

I get to see my best friend Sophia alot. She is older now and can play with me more. I love hanging out with her!

At the end of June we headed north for the vacation that mom and Dad had been waiting forever for!!! We went to Myrtle Beach to meet up with the Duartes. It was a wonderful time. We went to the beach, hung out by the pool, and even rode a ferris wheel. I loved hanging out with Alyssa and Mikey! They were so cool to play with. I think I even heard Mom and Dad say it might be time for a sibling. (Not sure what to think about that yet). We all decided that the vacation was so fun it would have to be a yearly event! Can't wait to see them all again very soon. Here are a few pics from the vacation.

 After Myrtle Beach was the 4th of July. We went over to GG and Sabba's house to watch fireworks! They have the best view of Aventura's fireworks. I got to stay up past my bedtime, and the show was great!

Then, a couple of weeks ago Mommy and I went up to see Granny JenJen and Papaw. We played, relaxed and went to the beach and in their pool. Mommy did not bring here camera so unfortunately not too many pictures. I had lots of fun though and hope to see them soon!!

After that we took a trip to the middle of the state to visit Daddy's friend Dave at his parent's lake house. His wife Megan and son Austin were there too. I had fun with Austin splashing in the lake and running around the house. Dad and mom had a chance to wakeboard, which is something Dad used to do all the time when he was younger. I have to say Daddy was much better than Mommy. It was another fun weekend for the Polacek fam.

Aside from all that excitement there is still so much going on with us! Mom and dad have been looking for a new house for us. We want a bigger house in the suburbs where there are more families and good schools. We looked at so many houses!!! And after 4 months of looking, 3 failed deals, we think we have the house. If all goes well we should have the new house August 8th!! I will make sure to blog about that one!! Keep your fingers crossed!

As for me I am keeping my parents busy. I am in constant motion. I am doing very well with feeding myself I use a fork really well.

I love to read books. I ask mom, dad, or the nearest person to read me stories over and over. Sometimes I like to read by myself.

I say a few words regularly now. The clearest words are "all done!" I say this to tell mom and dad that dinner is over. Sometimes it works. I also say Daddy, kitty, doggie, and hi pretty clearly. I like messing with mom. She wants me to say Mommy but I won't! I am such a stinker!! I love helping mom around the house. Here is a cute video of me trying to vaccuum.

I have started my next level of swim classes. I am doing really well. I don't swallow as much water and can do a few bubbles. I can even swim from mom to dad underwater!
