Hi Everyone!
Well, I am 4 months old now, and doing very well. I went to the Doctor's on Friday and received a great report. I am now 16 lbs 1 oz, and 25 3/4 inches long. I am in the 75th percentile for both length and weight.
This month has been pretty busy as usual. Soon after my 3 month post, Mom and Dad went on a weekend getaway. Granny Jen-Jen came to stay with me. Mommy and Daddy missed me, but I had fun. They were able to get some well needed alone time and a good nights sleep :).
Then for Labor Day weekend we went to see Dad's friends Dave and Megan at their lake house in Lake Wales. I was really good in the car ride, and surprise both mom and dad at how comfortable I was in a new setting. I met lots of new people Dave, Megan, Dave's parents and their friends, BUT my most favorite new friend is Austin. He is Dave and Megan's son. We played together all weekend. He even held me for a little bit. I hope we see them again soon. That weekend I took my first dip in a lake. It was warm, but the sun was very bright. I only stayed in for a few minutes, but I enjoyed it. We took pics, but they will be on the next blog.
I don't know if you all realize this but it is FOOTBALL SEASON!! Mommy, Daddy and I have been watching alot of football. I really enjoy watching it. I even talk to the players every now and then. Football season began when I helped Dad draft his fantasy football team.
Then it was time for College football to start. Mom is crazy about her team the FSU Seminoles! I got all decked out in my FSU gear from Aunt Julie
On Sundays we watch the Bears and Dolphins. Football is fun!!
I also got to see Uncle Adam this past weekend. He has lots of fun with me:)
On my 4 month birthday it was Papaw's Birthday too :). He flew into town and we went out to dinner. (I don't remember much because I slept through the whole thing). I did get to sing Happy Birthday to him though.
Mom and I have a pretty good schedule going during the week. On Tuesday and Wednesdays Ms. Agnes watches me while mommy goes to the gym, and on Thursdays Grandma come over and watches me. I am now on a nap schedule and can put myself to sleep at night..... Now I am trying to learn how to sleep through the night.
As for developing, I am still pretty talkative. I love talking to mom and dad, but I also talk to my toys. mom gets a kick out of watching me. My favorite thing is raspberries. I crack myself up!
I also have discovered my feet. I LOVE to hold my toes and grab the toys with my feet. Jen here's the video you asked for :)
I am also trying really hard to sit up and roll over from back to tummy. I am not quite there yet, but I should be soon.
This last video is of me swimming in the tub. I love to float and kick kick kick! I hope mom signs me up for swimming lessons soon!
