7 Months!!!

Well it has been another very busy month in the Polacek household!

The weekend after my 6 month birthday Uncle Adam was in town on leave from the Coast Guard. We spent a nice day on the boat and at a place called Bootleggers. We had a blast!

For Thanksgiving we went up to Granny JenJen and Papaw's. Aunt Julie was there too!!! Grandpa Polacek and Grandma Leelee came with us! We had so much fun! The adults got to eat some really yummy food! It was nice having everyone together :).

The day after Thanksgiving we went back to the Brevard Zoo!!! The giraffes were awake and boy were they close up! I wasn't allowed to feed them, but it was fun watching every one else do it. We also saw cheetahs, otters, alligators, kangaroos, and bald eagles. It was a great day!

Oh my gosh I forgot to mention that during Thanksgiving weekend I finally got to meet Granny Jean and Papa John! They are mommy's grandparents. They were super nice and really liked playing with me! We will get to see them again in New Orleans for Christmas!

The next weekend we went and got our Christmas tree! It is the most beautiful tree I have ever seen. I don't like touching it though because it is sharp. The lights are very pretty though. I got to put the Santa on the top of the tree. Mommy says it was her job when she was growing up, so now I get to do it!!!

Then the following weekend we went back up to Granny's for Baking weekend. Mom, Dad and Granny worked so hard all weekend to make delicious goodies for Mommy's friends. I tried to help, but Mommy said I was too little.

Whew!! What an exciting month! There sure was alot packed into such a short time!

Aside from all the Holiday activity, things have been going great! Daddy and I go to work together every day. Dad says I am doing such a good job of helping him at work. I help him load the containers! It is so much fun riding on the forklift with him. I am also sleeping longer during naps which gives him extra work time.

Working with dad is sooooooo tiring! 

I have learned two new tricks this month. I can "army crawl" across the floor and can pull myself up to stand. Here is the video of me pulling up!

Well that is about it for this month! Next month's blog should be super cool because it is my first Christmas!! I am excited to open all my presents! And Mom and Dad tell me we are going on a trip to New Orleans to meet Mommy's WHOLE family! It should be lots of fun! Until then Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

7 months!

6 Months!

Hi everyone!

Well I am a half a year old! Mommy cannot believe how fast time has gone! We went to the doctor for my regular check up. I am doing well! I am 18lbs 8.5oz and 27in long. I am in the 75%ile still for both weight and length.

Well alot has happened this month!

Pretty soon after my last blog, Sophia was finally born! Mom and I went to the hospital to try and meet her, but she wasn't here yet. I got tired of waiting so we had to leave. The next day mommy went to go see her. I saw her a few days later. Mom says I can't play with her yet, but maybe in a few months.

Then it was Halloween!!!!! We went to Granny JenJen and Papaws house for the weekend. Mommy, Daddy and I got all dressed up to go to the Brevard Zoo for "Boo at the Zoo". I was so excited because Granny said there would be giraffes (my favorite).

Then we got to the zoo and all the animals had gone to sleep!!! Even the giraffes!!! We were all so disappointed! It's ok though because when we go back to their house for Thanksgiving, Papaw and Granny JenJen promise we will go back when the animals are awake! So we took a quick stroll around the zoo, went on a train ride, then headed home.

Also during that weekend Daddy got creative with our new camera and we did a photo shoot on the beach. I had a hard time paying attention because my feet were SPARKLING  from the sand! I was mesmerized!

We got to see Papaw and Granny JenJen again the next weekend for Granny's Birthday! I fell asleep before the cake though :(.

Grandpa Polacek and Grandma LeeLee came back from their voyage on the seas! It was nice to see them again, and they bought me some new toys to play with at their house! It was sooo cool!

Then it was a very very sad time for mommy. It was time for her to go back to work. I was sad to see her leave, but then I realized I was going to spend more time with daddy which is awesome! We hang out around the house for a little in the morning, then we head to the Int'lMove office. Mom comes and picks me up around 2:45. Dad says I am the company mascot. Everyone is super nice to me and patient with me when I cry. It is an adjustment for both Dad and me, but it's going well!

GG and Sabba are there too! GG helps Dad out alot. Sometimes she feeds me, or just holds me while she works. It is so cool seeing them both every day. (GG needs to make dad takes pictures of her with me so they can get on the blog!)

Well that about wraps up the exciting events of this month.

I have been developing nicely. I now sit on my own, and play with my toys.

I also have been doing sooo much better at sleeping at night!! The day after my 6 month b-day I slept from 7:30-7:00 without waking up!

I also am beginning to get my first tooth. It is not quite there yet, but almost! I also have grown to LOVE oatmeal. I am still not too excited about any of the other foods, but mom says that should change pretty soon.
